Show Some She-motions WEEK 2: Task 7

"Do you know where you are?"  Watch video

SHOW SOME SHE-MOTIONS

There are over 6000 words for emotions in the English language. Today, get a piece of paper and write down every emotion you've felt in the past 3 days. Don't try to rationalize; just write. Were you angry, sad, happy, hurt, disappointed, excited, feeling lost and so on. After you've written every emotion that comes to mind, flip the paper over and draw a line down the middle. Label 1 column "Good" and the other column "Bad." Place your list of emotions in their appropriate columns and then rank them by importance.

Emotions are confusing. There are days when we feel wonderful and days when we question if we even know the raving lunatic who looks and sounds like us, but acts like the people we talk about on television! We're human and the range of emotions we experience daily varies. The emotions we experience while going through a healing process will often slip through the radar because our focus tends to be elsewhere. That's why it's important to check in every now and then.

Task 7 = +2 points for completing

Journal Questions:

After you complete this task - Go to the quiet space you've created for your self, take 3 deep breaths, read the below questions and journal about everything that comes to mind. Don't think too hard...just write as if you were talking on the phone to a friend.

1. How did you feel when you looked at your entire list?
2. Which emotion(s) surprised you the most on your list?
3. Is there any emotion(s) present more than others? Describe what you're doing when that emotion is present.

"Keep the faith, keep making it happen and remember to always stay out of your own way!"
